Asus has launched its ‘ROG Phone 6’ with two new models like last year and its most powerful gaming smartphone. Let’s discuss every possible detail, including its pricing and availability.

Asus ROG Phone 6 doesn’t have any new design changes; it looks similar to ROG 5 and has the same Republic of Gamers design on its back, but its Pro model might impress you with the new little display backside.
Display
Asus ROG Phone 6’s both models retain a refined 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with the protection of Gorilla Glass Victus.
It also supports a 165hz refresh rate & HDR 10+; in comparison, ROG 5 had a 144hz refresh rate. Its touch sampling rate is 720hz.
And the Base model only had a dual-LED RGB branding logo on its back, and the Pro model comes with a mini display on its back panel, a ROG Vision PMOLED color display.
This new mini-back display has many different modes, such as when someone calls you, it can show the caller’s name, notification with an app icon, and impressive graphics while gaming X-Mode is active.
Besides, it also comes with a unique gaming feature: AS coating that reduces friction from hand-sweating in gaming sessions, and it can also help reduce recoil in some games such as COD: Mobile.

The ROG Phone 6 has a dual-unit 6,000mAh battery, and it supports 65W fast charging, which can charge the device 100% in 42min (expected), and its reverse charging allows 10W capability.
Camera
Both smartphones have a triple camera setup on their back which contains a 50MP primary Sony IMX766 lens, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 5MP macro sensor.
And on the front, it has a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor for selfies and clear video-calling.
Performance
The ROG Phone 6 and 6 Pro are powered by the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with the Adreno 730 GPU to boost gaming performance.
Its promotional video claims it can run Genshin Impact on the highest graphic without frame drop, or if it drops, you would not realize it due to its smooth gaming experience features.
It runs on Android 12-based on the ROG UI skin, and the ROG Phone 6 Pro packs 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The base model comes in 12GB LPDDR5 RAM with 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Others
This device comes with the latest GameCool 6 cooling system that can provide 360–degree cooling, and it also includes an optional AeroActive Cooler 6 & a 30% bigger vapor chamber than the prior model.
Additionally, it has an in-display fingerprint scanner and a Super Linear Speaker system that will make gaming sounds more impressive & accurate.
Also, it has two built-in ultrasonic AirTrigger 6 buttons, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, and IPX4 rated for water resistance.

The ROG Phone 6 is available in two color options: Red & White, but the Pro model will come in a single color variant, which is White, and firstly it will be available to buy in the UK and Europe and then in other regions.

The standard Asus ROG Phone 6 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at €999 & in India at Rs 71,999, and the ROG 6 Pro model with 18GB RAM and 512GB is priced at €1,299 & in India at Rs 89,999.
