Whatsapp is working on a new feature for the desktop app for business accounts. It is adding an ability to add a cover photo to the business profile. 

Recently, a new feature came that lets you see an indicator on chats when someone replies to your status update. This feature is Status Reply Indicator.

Soon You Can Add Cover Photos On Whatsapp Business 

According to WABetaInfo, the company is rolling out a new feature that lets users add cover photos for their business. However, it’s still available to desktop beta users.

Earlier, WhatsApp Business for iOS got the ability to set cover photos. The feature is under development for Beta for Desktop.

WABetaInfo has shared a screenshot that shows the Whatsapp Desktop beta users can create a custom cover photo for their profile. So, the businesses could add a header image to your profile, and the consumers and other companies can see it.

This is one of the upcoming features, so not everyone can use it yet. At present, you can set the cover photos for the iOS version. And is also available for Desktop beta, so we can expect the feature to be added soon for the Android version also.

This feature is for the Whatsapp Business version, so you won’t be able to set up cover photos from the Standard Whatsapp account.

There are no official details on when the stable version of the feature will be rolled out.

For Standard Whatsapp users, the status reply indicator is expected to be available in the future for beta Android, iOS, and Desktop.

This feature will show a different icon indicating that the message in the chat is a reply to a status update.

Apart from this, Whatsapp is working on many new features like a detailed interface of message reaction for auto-generated albums.
