AMD’s competitor Nvidia recently paid $5.5 Million as a penalty to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for not disclosing revenue boosts due to Crypto Mining.
AMD expressed that these Radeon graphics cards are created on the step forward AMD RDNA 2 gaming architecture, including process optimizations and firmware & software enhancements.
The newly launched graphic cards are the AMD Radeon RX 6950 XT, Radeon RX 6750XT, and Radeon RX 6650XT. These models do not have many progressive changes, but they will be worth noticing specifications.
AMD Radeon RX 6650XT Specifications
Radeon RX 6650XT has 8GB of GDDR6 memory with a bandwidth of 280 GB/s, and its memory interface is 128-bit. Its clock can be boosted to 2635 MHz from its base game clock, 2410 MHz.
With AMD Infinity Cache speed, the adequate bandwidth is 469 GB/s with 32 compute units. Its power consumption is 180W which seems sufficient for this. Mainly, It is priced at $399 USD.
AMD Radeon RX 6750XT Specifications
An upgraded model of RX 6700XT, The Radeon RX 6750XT contains 12GB of GDDR6 memory with a bandwidth of 432 GB/s, and its memory interface is 192-bit. Its clock can be boosted to 2600 MHz from its base game clock, 2495 MHz.
AMD Infinity Cache speed provides an adequate bandwidth of 1326 GB/s with 40 compute units. Its power consumption is 250W. Specifically, It is priced at $549, which is a reasonable price for a 12GB memory GPU.
AMD Radeon RX 6950XT Specifications
Radeon RX 6650XT is the most powerful GPU from the Radeon RX 6000 series with 16GB of GDDR6 memory with a bandwidth of 576 GB/s, and its memory interface is 256-bit. With AMD Infinity Cache speed, the adequate bandwidth is 1793 GB/s with 80 compute units.
Its clock can be boosted to 2310 MHz from its base game clock, 2100 MHz. Its power consumption is 335W which seems acceptable for the power of this. Mainly, It is priced at $1099.
You can assume these GPUs with Super versions of Nvidia’s RTX 2000 series, not in terms of specifications. The new GPUs are available today from AMD board partners, including ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, etc.
AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0
A couple of months ago, AMD announced FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0. It comes with a new capability to use data from the previous frame to more accurately what the next frame should look and provide even better image quality.
The first game to add support for AMD FSR 2.0 will be Arkane Studios and Bethesda’s Deathloop, which will receive an update on May 12th. And now, the company has added support for other Games, the names you can see the above screenshot.
